The Role

We are looking for an ambitious University graduate or school leaver to join our audit and accounts team as a trainee, working towards your ACA qualification and Level 7 Apprenticeship.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, being part of a team that helps them to realise their business and personal ambitions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working with senior members of the team to prepare accounts for statutory, management and ad hoc requirements
  • Working as part of an Audit Team, completing detail testing and analytical review work, reporting to the Audit Senior or Manager
  • Work as part of a team to meet all deadlines and ensure that client expectations are exceeded
  • Undertake Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns

Essential skills and experience:

Our team are quick-thinking, analytical, and skilled at working across the whole range of services that we provide. Inter-linking competing personal and private financial matters to bring financial clarity to our clients. We would train you to do the same.

To join the team, you should have the following skills:

  • Strong team mentality but with the ability to work independently (with training of course)
  • Strong A Level grades, ideally having studied Accounting but this is not essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – thinking outside the box and proposing solutions
  • Confident and adaptable communication skills – written, verbally and in person
  • Be proactive and determined
